Polish history a. figure painter, son of the portrait painter Jan R. R. began his training at the Cracow academy under W. Luszczkiewicz, thereafter he studied at the Vienna academy under Wurzinger as well as at the Kunstschule Löffler a. in the studio of H. Makart. In 1893 he became professor in Lemberg.
