Friedrich Loos (Graz 1797 - Kiel 1890) - Sell & Buy
Austrian-German landscape painter. L. studied at the Vienna academy under Mössmer. He lived in Hungary, Leipzig, Salzburg a. Vienna before settling in Kiel in 1853. There he became drawing teacher at the university in 1863. Among his many travels is most important his sojourn in Italy, where he went in 1846 to meet J. C. Reinhart. Mus.: Berlin (Nat.
