Pierre (Hans Adolf Peter) Schumann (Heide Holst. 1917 - Eutin 2011) - Sell & Buy
German sculptor. Trained at the Hochschule f. Bildende Künste Hamburg under E. Scharff and at the Stuttgart Academy under O. Baum, 1954-1964 he stayed in Paris. Since 1955 he worked as a freelance artist in Hamburg in his studio at Lerchenfeld, 1974 he moved to Sagau-Kassedorf near Eutin, since 1964 he had another studio in Carrara. - Schumann created sculptures and wall designs, his preferred material was marble.
