In a virtuoso manner carved two-part relief scene depicting a famous episode of the Greek mythology: in the right hand part the youth Paris is handing over the gold apple to Aphrodite, in the right hand part Athena and Hera leaving the scenery with disappointment. Mounted on velvet-covered wood. Min. chip to the upper right edge. H. 17 cm, w. 25,5 cm.
