London, probably second half 18th centuy. Root wod, mahogany, veneered, partly coloured carvings, brass applications. Iron numeral dial with roman and arab. numerals, date aperture, subsidiary second, iron hands, labelled 'Wm. Skitlethorp London'. Crowned by rocking ship automaten set of three sailling ships on waves (moving with rhythm of the pendulum). 2 weights, key, pendulum. Three carved and gilded figures of angels and Atlang (added). Due to age partly small damages. H. approx. 280 cm, w. 55,5 cm, d. 31 cm.
