Oil/canvas, 60 x 73 cm, lo. ri. sign. K. Ostrowski, on the reverse artist's label, on the stretcher inscribed 'Pejzaz z kartuz'. - Polish painter. O. began stuying at the Zoppot art school. With a scholarship of the French government he could continue his studies in the studio of F. Léger in Paris in 1949/50. 1964-87 he taught painting at the Gdansk academy.
