Japan, around 1900 (Meiji-period 1868-1912). Brown patinated bronze. Vases with relief and elephant handles. At the front depiction of a large phoenix bird, verso with birds. Manufactory mark. Later brass mounting with electrification and 'Sang-de-boeuf'-coloured lamp shades. Overall h. 57,5 cm, diam. of the shades 38,5 cm.
