China, 17th cent. (Ming-dynasty 1368-1644). Ceramic with beige body. Fine craqueled egg-shell glaze with polychrome painting. Characteristic shape with thickened spout and heavily projecting mouth. The wall with a revolving decoration of four-sided reserves above flaming pearls, including floral motifs and wave patterns. The spout with additional flaming pearl. Old coll. No. 'H 29'. H. 17 cm.
