China, beg. of 20th cent. (Republic-period). Porcelain with polychrome painting and rich gold decoration. Characteristic shape with naturalistic cover. At each side of the lower wall a large depiction of phoenix in between Leiwen-borders. At the upper wall a dense decoration with circular ornaments underneath a Lambrequin-border. Four-character Kangxi-mark. H. 22 cm.
