Nymphenburg, around 1911. Polychrome coloured figurine of a capercaillie cock in display on a square base. His head pointing forward and his richly feathered tail errected. Rhomb shield mark in blind embossing, incised "314 5". Sign. at the base "M. Niemeier 1911". The beak slightly cracked. Min. chip. H. 20 cm.
