Markó as well as dat. 39 (?). - Hungarian landscape painter, initially trained by his father a. at the Pest drawing school he started studying painting at the Vienna academy in 1822 a. soon exhibited successfully, in 1834 he moved to Rome where he made friends with J. A. Koch a. B.
