Saxony, end 18th cent. Silver, marked '12'. MM.: 'AFB', Anton Friedrich Burgmüller, lived and worked in Weissenfels, mentioned 1797 - 1804. Partly gilded. Cover with fine ornament of flowers and foliage, applied and engraved ornaments of the corpus. Wooden handles (old rep.). (Comp. lit. due to info. of owner: Kurt Pötsch, Goldschmiede, in: Mitteilungen d. Verbandes deutscher Juweliere, Gold- und Silberschmiede, 1921, no. 20, p. 14 ff with illustrations). H. 30,5 cm and H. 25 cm. Weight in total c. 1800 gr.
