Around 1930. Bronze, gold and brown patinated. On the black marble base sign. 'XX BECQUEREL'. Minimally spotted. H.29 cm, base: 3 x 28 x 7,5 cm. - Studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris under Hector Lemaire and Prosper Lecourtier. He is known for his Art Deco animal figures in stylised harmony of form and close-to-nature observation, had successful exhibition at the Salon des Artistes Francais from 1914 to 1922.
