Oil/canvas, 64,5 x 46,5 cm, lo. le. sign. Albert Lynch, min. rest. - L. had painted the Yawl Aranella off the Coast of South France for the Grand Duke of Mecklenburg, its owner. In the 1893 he took part in a regatta off Cannes with the Yacht. - Portrait painter of Irish origin, born in Peru and active in Paris. L. studied at the École des Beaux-Arts under G. Ferrier, J. Noel and H. Lehmann. Since 1890 he exhibited at the Salon. In 1900 he won a gold medal at the World's Fair, in 1901 he was made chevalier of the légion d'honneur. Mus.: New York, Buffalo, New Jersey.
