Austria, late 18th cent. Lead casting with remains of black patina. Garden or fountain figure holding a sheaf of grain, attribute of the right hand (sickle?) lost. Heavily weathered , dents. H. 61 cm. The small figure can be seen in the tradition of the Austrian baroque sculptors G.R. Donner and B.F. Moll who acquired at the beginning of 18th cent. the skills and technique of lead casting.
