Age-related fine hairline cracking. - German sculptor. 1901-1905 education at the Frankfurt School of Arts and Crafts. 1906 Rome award of the City of Vienna, then study visit in Rome, around 1940 professor for sculpture at the Offenbach Academy for Art and Design. - He designed inter alia for the porcelain manufactory Plaue and the Karlsruhe majolika-manufactory.
