Pagani, possibly also in the studio of Santi di Tito. 1601-07 he worked in Rome. He painted many altarpieces for Tuscan churches. His paintings merge the Florentine classicism of Santi di Tito with the dramatic effects of light in the work of Caravaggio which T. saw in Rome
