Meissen, around 1760. At the front side and back side two reserves with poultry painting surrounded by sculptural rocailles and spiraling flowers. At the bottom a kneeling putto, right above a winged cupid. Perforated cover with finial flower bouquet. Crossed swords mark. Min. prof. rest. H. 39 cm. - J J. Kaendler designed this vase type for Friedrich the Great and repeated it in various heights and with various accessories. (Comp.: Berling, 1911, p. 60 u. fig. 114; Rückert, 1966, fig. 761).
