B. was son of the French-born architect Simon Beausir in Rome, where he started his career as landscape painter. B. is inspired by J. F. van Bloemen a. A. Locatelli; his light colouring is however even more appealing to the modern collector. B. sold many paintings to English travellers on their 'Grand Tour', therefore many of his works are still in England. - Mus.: Rome (Galleria Doria Pamphilj a. others), London (Brit.
