H.-G., 'Ich und die Welt', Ausstellungskatalog Offenburg 2007, no. 17, p. 52. - German figure a. landscape painter. H.-G. studied at the Badische Landeskunstschule under H. Gehri a. E. Würtenberger since 1922, in 1925 she moved to Munich a. continued her studies at the local academy under H. von Habermann. After working at the Staffelsee a. in the Lüneburg Heath she returned to Offenburg. An exhibition in the Kunsthalle Baden-Baden was a first success. In the mature age of 64 she started anew a. studied again, this time at the Düsseldorf academy under K. O. Götz. She travelled widely a. exhibited all over Germany.
