Germany, 19th cent. Bronze relief with black patina. Bust of Maximilian I. of Habsburg named 'the last knight' (1459 Wiener Neustadt - 1519 Wels) with side-face to the right. H. 6 cm. - Maximilian I. of Habsburg became duke of Burgundy in 1477, roman-german king in 1486, archduke of Austria in 1493 and in 1508 emperor of the Holy Roman Empire.
