Tibet, 19th cent. Partly brown patinated bronze with traces of gilt. Standing figure of an emanation of Avalokiteshvara, the Bodhisattva of compassion. In his left hand the attributive lotus, his right hand performing the gesture of wishfulfilling (varada mudra). H. 17,5 cm.
