Finely worked head of a Buddha with characteristically tightly curled button shaped locks arranged in parallel bands ascending over the low ushnisha and continuing to the back of his head. His full face smoothly modeled with a slightly raised browline arching above half closed eyes and smiling lips deeply recessed at the edges. H. 40 cm.
