Olaf Wegewitz, born 1949 in Schönebeck/Elbe was trained as tractor mechanic until 1966. 1974/75 he studied at the Hochschule für Graphik u. Buchkunst in Leipzig und H. Schulze. Heinze a. Wegewitz started collaborating in 1980.
