Meissen, around 1735. Large revolving Kakiemon motif with rock, hedge and phoenix bird. Silver-mounted foot and cover, indistinctly stamped 'TS' or 'TG' in heart-shaped puce. The cover composed with a coin of King Frederic III of Danmark (1609-1670), dat. At the back '1661'. The cover engraved 'FRID. III. D.G. DAN. NOR. VAN. GOT. REX .'. H. 21,5 cm. -The Kakiemon motif with hedge, peony flowers and phoenix bird was very popular in Meissen since the mid 1720s.
