Meissen, 20th cent. Fine painting with different depictions of game animals and gold rim. 16 parts: Coffe pot (h. 28,5 cm), tea pot (h. 14,5 cm), 6 plates (diam. 20 cm), 6 cups with saucers, sugar and creamer. Crossed swords in u"glaze blue. - The delicately painted scenes of game animals are based on popular depictions by the Augsburg artist and engraver Johann Elias Ridinger (1698-1767). The painted decoration of several famous services, which Meissen produced back in the 18th cent., are strongly influenced by Ridinger"s engravings.
