China, Han-dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD) or earlier. Green-brown patinated bronze. Bellied square cut vase with cover. 2 side handles with ring in the shape of T"ao-t"ieh-masks. The cover with 4 pommels in the shape of stylised animals. Small loss of material in the wall.
