China, 19th cent. (Qing-dynasty 1644-1911). Carved red-grey soapstone. Tall cube with cut seal in the bottom. All 4 sides of the wall covered with incised Chinese characters. The pommel as a plastical carving: A large Fô-dog with ball accompanied by 2 Fô-dogs. Min. cracked. 1 seal with restoration. H. 22,5 cm.
