5. Catalogue descriptions

All items coming up for auction may be viewed and inspected prior to the auction at the times publicised (cf. § 2 conditions of sale).
Descriptions in the catalogue are intended as a lead. The items have been in use and are auctioned in their present state. The absence of statements does not mean the items are in perfect condition or free from obvious or hidden defects. Catalogue descriptions as well as verbal explanations before or during the auction are made to the staff’s best knowledge. We therefore recommend that all property be viewed and inspected in person. If the property cannot be inspected in person, we advise you to contact our specialists, who will be pleased to give you further information on the items. Defects will only be mentioned globally providing they were visible for our specialist. Abbreviations are deciphered in the list at the end of the catalogue. For technical reasons, slight deviations in the colour may occur in the illustrations, likewise illustrations and figures in the catalogue may show sections of the actual objects.

8. Payment modalities
